Sara and I met for the first time in 1975, in the offices of our pediatrician,
Dr. Bernstein. Although I was only 2 years old at the time, and Sara not yet 12 months,
still somehow a connection was made. But it wasn't for many more years, after Sara
had moved away, living in three different parts of New York, the state of California,
and finally moved back to her "home" state of Maryland when we met again.
In November of 1999 I finally met Sara (again) at a dinner with a mutual friend,
and the rest, as they say, is history. We have now been together for more than 4 years.
I proposed on December 23, 2001, which we both now consider to be one of the two
happiest days of our lives. The other? We celebrated our marriage on May 31st, 2003
in Hyde Park, New York.
We currently live in Columbia, MD, and Tim is a senior partner for Back East Consulting,
an Information Technology consulting firm. Sara works as a school psychologist for
Frederick County Public Schools. We plan to stay here in Columbia for at least three
years, or until Sara's commute drives her nuts, whichever comes first.
To those of you who attended our wedding, we wish to offer our thanks for helping to make
it such a special day for us. And to everyone, thank you for all your warm wishes. And oh
yeah, "Hi!" to all of Jay's students, who apparently have been surfing our website! You'll
be happy to know, new wedding pictures are finally up!
